The ASICS NOVABLAST 5 men's running shoe combines superior comfort with a springy ride, offering energetic cushioning for all runners. FF BLAST MAX cushioning helps create softer landings and more energetic rebounds during training.

The latest updates to the NOVABLAST™ range deliver a uniquely comfortable and energizing running experience through a combination of lightweight materials and a new ASICS midsole material.

The NOVABLAST™ 5 shoe features FF BLAST™ MAX foam cushioning, which helps increase rebound by approximately 8.5% compared to the previous NOVABLAST™ model. Currently, the NOVABLAST™ 5 shoe is the only shoe in the ASICS line-up to feature a full FF BLAST™ MAX midsole.

The NOVABLAST™ 5’s upper has also been improved for comfort, now utilizing an engineered jacquard mesh that improves breathability compared to its predecessor’s woven upper. The NOVABLAST™ 5’s tongue construction also takes inspiration from the SUPERBLAST™ line of footwear, echoing the wing design with a reinforced wedge, helping to create a secure lockdown and inspire confidence during training.

The NOVABLAST™ 5's midsole and outsole construction features improvements that build on the energetic, bouncy, and comfortable ride of its predecessor. A pod-like groove in the forefoot improves cushioning and helps runners feel propelled forward with every stride.
