The ORTOVOX Merino Freeride 3 Finger Glove W is a technically sophisticated glove that is a reliable companion for fantastic freeride adventures. Thanks to its precise workmanship, the gloves are extremely durable and have a long service life . The two-layer outer material is wind and water resistant and is also complemented by a functional Sympatex® membrane. The padding is made of merino wool scraps, which provide the necessary insulation. The high-quality goat leather on the palms ensures a good grip even when wet.

Thanks to the double width adjustment at the wrist and cuff, the gloves can be optimally adjusted and effectively protect your hands from cold and wind. Inside is a pleasantly soft FLEECE LIGHT GRID material with fine merino wool, which ensures optimal temperature and moisture regulation. You will appreciate the MERINO FLEECE LIGHT GRID material especially during active movement. Thanks to Tasmanian merino wool , high breathability and elasticity, it is pleasant to wear and provides perfect comfort in winter and summer.

The waffle structure on the inside ensures excellent moisture wicking and high breathability, so you will feel dry even during all-day physical activity. Thanks to the larger number of air pockets, it insulates better than most wool materials of this weight (157 g/m2). Another advantage is faster drying.

The wool on the inside is not only very comfortable, but also excellently wicks away sweat and helps regulate temperature. The outside is made of polyester , which is very durable, elastic and promotes quick drying. Its biggest advantage is its shape retention and really long life. The combination of polyester and the waffle construction of the inner wool side creates a neoprene effect, where the heat is held in air pockets on the inside and the outer polyester knit prevents blowing and creates a barrier against heat loss.

Sympatex® is a non-porous membrane that guarantees perfect protection against water and wind. It is also highly breathable. Unlike other membrane technologies, the compact non-porous Sympatex® membrane is based on a physical and chemical principle. The membrane, which attracts water (hydrophilic), absorbs moisture from the body and transports it away by evaporation. Since the membrane has no pores, breathability is not limited by dirt particles, salt crystals or cleaning agent residues and therefore has a longer lifespan.
