The SCARPA Mustang Trk GTX is a men's hiking boot designed for short and long hikes with technical features that provide unparalleled comfort and help reduce foot fatigue. It offers a balanced combination of durability, lightness and comfort , making it an ideal choice for new mountain enthusiasts looking for reliable performance on the trail.

The upper combines waterproof suede with 45% recycled ECO mesh, creating a durable and more sustainable material suitable for a wide range of hiking and trekking activities. A protective TPU layer increases durability in high-flexibility areas exposed to abrasion. A plush collar and tongue construction provides comfort and protection from external influences, while a TPU heel stabilizer supports and protects the heel during impact.

A differentiated lacing system, designed to provide stability in the forefoot and increased comfort around the ankle. In the forefoot area, closed laces ensure smooth lace gliding, allowing for even fastening and a secure hold of the foot. Open laces around the collar make it easier to put on and allow for a smoother and more progressive adjustment of the lace tension. A lace lock is located between the instep and ankle, allowing for a customized adjustment and a secure locking of the lacing system, increasing comfort and stability during wear.

A lightweight PU midsole combined with IKS geometry and wrapped in a protective TPU layer provides a balanced combination of agility and support, making it ideal for day hikes and short treks.

The VIBRAM® XS TREK outsole with 5mm lugs provides stability and reliable traction on technical, uneven or slippery surfaces, helping to reduce the risk of unstable footing. The integrated rubber toe cap increases durability and protects the foot from impacts on rocks and sharp surfaces.
