SILVA Explore 5 - yellow headlamp

Description

The SILVA EXPLORE 5 headlamp is the most powerful outdoor headlamp from the Swedish Silva. A compact model with an output of 700lm and a weight of 116g . Four intensities of white light, an orientation red and orange diode.

Silva Intelligent Light - uniform light distribution. Thanks to the permanently integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery 7.5Wh, IP68 water resistance has been achieved - long-term immersion to a depth of 1m. After 500 charge/discharge cycles, the battery capacity decreases by approximately 30%. Four side diodes indicate the charge level and the button lock status against unintentional switching on of the headlamp, e.g. in a backpack. For better handling and increased mechanical resistance, the headlamp has edges covered with rubber parts . The package includes a helmet clip and a USB-C charging cable.

*The technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. Battery life is given as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after switching on, it is not the time until the headlamp is completely discharged, after which the headlamp goes into reserve mode. Battery life is affected by the ambient temperature and the type of activity, e.g. when running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while sub-zero temperatures, on the contrary, reduce the battery capacity. The reach is given as the distance at which the light intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the light intensity created by a full moon in a clear sky.
