Avalanche gear and a lightweight ice ax stored in a separate safety compartment can be quickly removed in an emergency, while everything in the main compartment is accessible through the fully opening back. Thanks to the special side pocket, you always have crampons and climbing belts at hand without having to remove the backpack. You can also easily fold the rope and skis even with a backpack on your back. Attachment for two climbing axes, daisy chain, rope attachment and helmet net complete the versatile equipment attachment options.
The backpack uses lightweight and extremely durable 420D Cordura polyamide fabric in combination with extremely light 100% recycled 100D polyamide fabric. The backpack is completely PFC-free and made from recycled polyamide using a climate-neutral process. On the outside, it is treated with water-resistant DWR treatment without PFC content.
The FULL CONTACT LIGHT ergonomic back system optimally distributes the load on the back even with heavy loads. If the backpack is not too full, the volume can be effectively reduced using the 3-point A-skifix compression straps. This back system made of 3D foam is light but at the same time comfortable. One of the main advantages of the FULL CONTACT LIGHT system is that it can evenly distribute the load between the waist strap and slightly padded shoulder straps . This variant of the "S" backpack is designed for people with a back length of 36 to 44 cm . However, the backpack can also be purchased in a variant for those of you who have a back length between 42 and 50 cm. The length of the back is calculated from the 7th cervical vertebra to the upper part of the pelvis. The backpack is not only modified in the length of the back, but also changes in the shape of the shoulder straps and adjustment of the waist belt. The backpack thus fits perfectly and holds more firmly on the back.
