The SALEWA MTN TRAINER 2 28L backpack is designed for hiking and via ferratas with a close-fitting Dry Back fit and split shoulder straps for increased breathability, freedom of movement and a stable carry. This sleek and agile 28-liter version has a lid pocket and an easily accessible front compartment.
Its Dry Back Contact carrying system keeps your load close to your body while ensuring your back stays dry. It achieves this by allowing a higher perspiration rate per cm² than traditional designs and reducing mid-back temperatures thanks to a reduced contact surface and 3D air channels. The dual compression system and wraparound hip belt - with an additional gear loop for parking via ferrata carabiners and a mesh pocket - ensure a secure fit and optimal load control.
For stability and control, our sophisticated Twin Compression System (TCS) includes top and bottom compression for easy volume adjustment, so you can keep your load stabilized and centered at all times. Lightweight split shoulder straps give you increased arm mobility for freedom of movement, and also reduce body contact, promoting greater comfort when sweating and improving airflow.
Mountain-focused features include: ice tool and trekking pole attachment, rain cover, easy-access side mesh pockets, zip chain, pole attachment and hipbelt pocket, and more.
