The ORTOVOX MERINO FREERIDE MITTEN M gloves are technically sophisticated, making them a great partner for fantastic freeride adventures. Thanks to the precise workmanship, these mittens are extremely durable and have a long service life . The two-layer outer material is wind and waterproof and is also complemented by a functional Sympatex® membrane. The filling is made of merino wool scraps , which provide the necessary insulation. The high-quality goat leather on the palms guarantees a good grip even when wet.
Thanks to the double width adjustment at the wrist and cuff, these mittens can be optimally adjusted and effectively protect your hands from cold and wind. Inside is a pleasantly soft FLEECE LIGHT GRID material with fine merino wool, which ensures optimal temperature and moisture regulation.
The waffle structure on the inside ensures excellent moisture wicking and high breathability, so you will feel dry even during all-day physical activity. Thanks to the larger number of air pockets, it insulates better than most wool materials of this weight (157 g/m2). Another advantage is faster drying.
Sympatex® membrane - is a non-porous membrane that guarantees perfect protection against water and wind. In addition, it is highly breathable. Unlike other membrane technologies, the compact non-porous Sympatex® membrane is based on a physical and chemical principle. The membrane, which attracts water (hydrophilic), absorbs moisture from the body and removes it by evaporation. Since the membrane has no pores, breathability is not limited by dirt particles, salt crystals or detergent residues, and therefore has a longer lifespan.
