La Sportiva

La Sportiva was born in 1928, when Narciso Delladio started making clogs and leather shoes by hand for farmers and woodcutters living in the Fassa and Fiemme valleys in the Italian Dolomites. After the end of the World War, the demand for quality shoes increased, so Narciso hired more employees. Calzoleria Sportiva's reputation soon went beyond the borders of the mountain valleys.

Currently, La Sportiva produces shoes for almost all possible outdoor activities. Shoes for climbing, high-altitude tourism and expedition mountaineering even rank among the absolute top of the market. The offer has recently expanded to include footwear for ski mountaineering and cross-country running. The production of shoes is successfully seconded by the ever-expanding production of technical clothing for running, climbing and ski mountaineering. The majority of production still takes place at the company headquarters in the town of Ziano di Fiemme, but you can buy equipment with the La Sportiva logo in more than 70 countries around the world.
