150 COOL Beta-spun technology
The 150 COOL material is made from a new technical beta-spun yarn, which is more durable and stronger, while retaining the natural properties of the natural fibers TENCELTM and merino wool. Beta-spun technology from the SÜDWOLLE Group is based on a new spinning method in which polyamide fibers are wrapped around a core of merino wool and TENCELTM. The resulting material is more resistant to abrasion and tearing thanks to the protective layer of polyamide.

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only slightly over time and retains its functional properties for many years.

ORTOVOX has strict criteria for the breeding of sheep, which significantly affects the quality of their wool. To meet these criteria, ORTOVOX only purchases wool from a few selected farms that are subject to regular inspections and that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
ORTOVOX sources its new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical animal welfare principles.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding quality requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored by the OWP. The wool itself is 100% organic, and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up the fine wool yarns. This wool also regulates temperature perfectly and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.
