Description

The SILVA Free 900 S headlamp is the latest addition to the SILVA Free modular range of headlamps. This 900 lumen headlamp is equipped with a lightweight elastic headband, where the integrated cable with textile braid is long enough to store the battery in a running vest, backpack, fanny pack, or in winter for warmth under clothing. The elastic headband itself with cable and reflector with a light output of 900 lm weighs 98g, which is ideal for running activities, the total weight of the Free 900 S incl. 24.1Wh battery is 248g.

The modular system of Silva Free lights allows you to freely combine individual components, reflectors with outputs of 900, 1200, 2000 and 3000 lumens, 5 variants of rechargeable batteries 11.1Wh XXS, 14.4Wh XS, 24.1Wh S, 36Wh M and 7 uniform light distribution in the distance and to the sides and more powerful 2000 and 3000 lm, thanks to Silva Flow Light technology , you can adjust the shape of the light cone by tilting the reflector. The separately supplied Free Helmet Mount set 38230 allows you to attach it to a helmet, thanks to the Free GoPro Mount set 38290, you can attach the reflector to the GoPro camera holder and using the Free Bar Mount set 38229, you can attach the reflector with the battery to a bicycle. Free headlamps are designed for various activities , you can choose the reflector power and battery capacity and also the elastic headband in the variant with an integrated rear red light 38284, or the ultralight version for running 38540. The light output is regulated by a built-in temperature sensor according to the surface temperature of the reflector. If the cooling is not sufficient, e.g. during static activities, indoors or at high temperatures, then the light output will be automatically reduced until an acceptable surface temperature on the reflector body is reached, this applies mainly to the more powerful 2000 and 3000 lm headlamps. As soon as the battery capacity drops to 10% of the initial value, the headlamp flashes during lighting and goes into reserve mode, which has an output of 80lm and provides approximately 1 hour of operation. The Free 1200, 2000 and 3000 headlamps, including accessories, withstand jets of water from all angles - IPX5 water resistance. * The technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. Battery life is given as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after switching on, it is not the time of complete discharge, after which the headlamp goes into reserve mode. Battery life is affected by the ambient temperature and the type of activity, e.g. when running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while sub-zero temperatures, on the contrary, reduce the battery capacity. The reach is given as the distance at which the light intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the light intensity created by the full moon in a clear sky.

** Extended 5-year warranty for SILVA headlamps and lamps. Silva warrants that your headlamp/lamp will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for 5 years. Rechargeable batteries are covered by a 2-year or 300 charge cycles warranty. The extended warranty beyond the mandatory 2-year warranty for consumer goods is limited by SILVA to repair or replace the product. This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser. If you discover during the warranty period that the product is defective, please contact the dealer where you purchased the product immediately. When making a claim, please have proof of purchase, without the original proof of purchase, the headlamp/lamp cannot be claimed. The warranty does not apply to cases where the product has been modified or if it has not been installed, used, repaired or maintained in accordance with SILVA's instructions. The warranty also does not apply to cases where the product has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical use, or to cases of negligence, abuse or accident. The warranty also does not apply to normal wear and tear. SILVA is not liable for any consequences (direct or indirect) or damages arising from the use of this product.
