Description

The SILVA Seek 450 headlamp with an integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery and 450 lumens is the most powerful model in the Seek compact headlamp range. Silva Intelligent Light technology - two white diodes, thanks to the lens optics, evenly illuminate the space in the distance and to the sides, a red diode for subdued, non-disturbing lighting. Battery status indication in the form of a green and red diode, if the green diode lights up after the headlamp is turned off, the battery level is above 50%, the red diode indicates the battery capacity below 50%. A passive aluminum radiator is built into the folding part of the lamp. A practical button lock prevents the headlamp from being turned on accidentally. The comfortable elastic headband is 25 mm wide and has a silicone center on the inside for better stability on the head, two quick-adjust buckles take care of adjusting the circumference. The lamp is attached to an elastic headband using a rear clip and thanks to the clip it can be easily attached, for example, to the chest strap of a backpack... Seek 450 is resistant to jetting water from all sides - IPX5. Recycled plastics were used as the main material. The total weight of the headlamp is 70 g. Extended warranty of 5 years for the headlamp and 2 years for the battery.

* The technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. Battery life is given as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after switching on, it is not the time of complete discharge, after which the headlamp goes into reserve mode. Battery life is affected by the ambient temperature and the type of activity, e.g. when running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while sub-zero temperatures, on the contrary, reduce the battery capacity. The reach is given as the distance at which the light intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the light intensity created by the full moon in a clear sky.

** Extended 5-year warranty for SILVA headlamps and lamps. Silva warrants that your headlamp/lamp will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for 5 years. Rechargeable batteries are covered by a 2-year or 300 charge cycles warranty. The extended warranty beyond the mandatory 2-year warranty for consumer goods is limited by SILVA to repair or replace the product. This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser. If you discover during the warranty period that the product is defective, please contact the dealer where you purchased the product immediately. When making a claim, please have proof of purchase, without the original proof of purchase, the headlamp/lamp cannot be claimed. The warranty does not apply to cases where the product has been modified or if it has not been installed, used, repaired or maintained in accordance with SILVA's instructions. The warranty also does not apply to cases where the product has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical use, or to cases of negligence, abuse or accident. The warranty also does not apply to normal wear and tear. SILVA is not liable for any consequences (direct or indirect) or damages arising from the use of this product. In no event shall SILVA’s liability exceed the amount paid by you for the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The warranty is valid and can only be performed in the country of purchase. The consumer’s rights under the law of the country of purchase are not affected by this warranty.
