Blacklight Pro was developed especially for professional ski alpinists. With 80 mm under the heel and a minimalistic 900 grams (at 165 cm), it is the best companion for ambitious ski alpinists.

Blacklight Pro has a top layer made of 100% carbon. UD is short for unidirectional ('uni') carbon fiber arrangement. Compared to the classic carbon construction, this construction provides higher strength and greater durability while maintaining a lower density. In addition, the Blacklight Pro features a 100% Paulownia wood core. Thanks to its 3D construction, the skis have a lower overall weight while maintaining extremely stable handling. The rocker construction and cut are adapted to each size of ski, which is a unique feature on the ski mountaineering market. This makes the effective length of the edge equally proportional to each size, allowing it to function independently of size. In order to ensure the best possible transfer of power from the skier to the skis, the skis are constructed with a full ABS sidewall. In addition, the slide has special racing grinding.

Thanks to the new PIN-SKIN system, the straps are no longer attached to the sole. The belt is anchored with a small pin and a corresponding insert directly in the ski. This system not only saves time when re-threading the belts, but also increases its slippage . At the same time, it also saves unnecessary weight, which is really essential in difficult terrain. PIN-SKIN belts are the racing model Race Pro 2.0 from POMOCA. But full-length belts with normal fit can also be used.
