The ORTOVOX AVABAG LITRIC TOUR 28 S backpack is a very technical, lightweight and durable avalanche backpack ideal for one-day ski touring and ski mountaineering.
LiTRIC combines the advantages of both electronic and mechanical systems . On the one hand, it allows multiple inflations on a single charge and at the same time is comparable in weight to the lightest mechanical rescue system solutions (pressure cartridge systems). With a volume of 28 liters and internal pockets, you will have enough space for all the equipment you need for a long ski tour. This avalanche backpack stands out in particular with its wide range of equipment attachment options such as two ice axes, a rope, a helmet and skis. Comprehensive comfort is underlined by the 3D back system designed for demanding and long tours.
The main pocket has a waterproof two-way zipper , which can be opened sufficiently and you can see everything immediately and clearly. The interior is bright for better orientation in the dark. At the front of the backpack there is a special pocket for avalanche equipment , if necessary you will have a shovel and probe right at hand. Inside the main pocket there is also a clip for a water reservoir . In the front there is a small pocket for a map, compass and other navigation equipment. This pocket also has a plastic carabiner for keys.
The avalanche backpack has no unnecessary straps and elastic bands, but only functional elements. ORTOVOX designers have ensured a very clean look even when you are carrying ice axes, a helmet, skis or a snowboard. The backpack may feel soft to the touch, but the CORDURA® fabric used is extremely tear-resistant and very light. Every detail of the backpack is well-made, durable materials are used, so you don't have to worry about the edges of your skis or the tips of your ice axe.
The avalanche backpack with the LiTRIC system consists of two parts . The backpack bag is attached to the BASE (back system) with the LiTRIC rescue system. This ensures the universal use of the backpacks from freeriding in the resort to a week-long Haute route. You can easily change it using the perimeter zipper and side straps.
