Like all the products of this well-known brand, it is intended for overcoming more demanding and higher routes in alpine terrain in the middle of rocks. For this reason, the Traverse 28 S is slim, armored and offers the option of attaching trekking poles. You'll also appreciate it because it's made from PFC-free materials, which means it's safe for your health. Importantly, recycled materials were used in the production of this model. Up to 72% of the polyester used in this backpack comes from recycled sources, so the backpack minimizes its ecological footprint.
The Ortovox Traverse backpack with a volume of 18 liters has a carrying system called the Comfort Contact Back System. It is characteristic that the parts that are in contact with the body are made of foam, which ensures a good level of ventilation and faster removal of moisture from the body. In addition, the foam allows for better fit and stabilization and reduces the risk of irritation. In addition to the carrying system described above, the backpack also has an ergonomically shaped wide waist belt and a chest belt with an adjustable circumference. This increases the stability of the entire package. Special stabilizing shoulder straps also ensure that the backpack fits well. Ortovox backpacks with the suffix S in the name are models with a carrying system adapted to a slimmer and lower silhouette . They are recommended primarily for women, but they also work well as models for shorter men or teenagers. The carrier system S (Short) is shorter and suitable for persons up to approximately 175 cm tall.

Both ends of the poles can be safely clipped into the loop after placing the backpack under the side compression straps. A raincoat, which is part of the backpack and is located in the bottom pocket, is a practical accessory in case of bad weather. Provides water resistance up to 2500 mm water column.
