The North Face

The North Face is an American company founded in 1968 in San Francisco. It specializes in the production of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment. The company produces products that are used both in extreme conditions, both for high-altitude tourism and for everyday use. The name of the company was chosen based on the fact that the northern slopes of the mountains in the northern hemisphere are generally considered the most demanding. The logo depicts the granite massif of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Half Dome is the tallest wall in the world.
