The Dynafit Radical Down Hooded M Jacket women's down insulation jacket will please adventurers who do not want to compromise between thermal comfort and freedom of movement. This jacket excels in both of these features.
The upper material is windproof and water-repellent, elastic inserts on the sides of the jacket add a sense of comfort when moving. It is made of premium goose down with 800RDS certified 800 cubic inch fill with a 95/5 down ratio. The only weakness of down is its sensitivity to moisture. When down gets wet, it clumps and loses its coating, thereby losing its insulating ability. Precisely for this reason, the premium goose down used in this jacket has been treated with DOWNTEK®. This waterproof treatment allows the down to maintain its density and coating even when exposed to moisture, keeping you warm. In addition, the down dries faster and can be washed in the washing machine without losing quality.
The lightweight nylon outer layer is wind and water resistant to provide additional weather protection. Stretch side panels in the underarms provide improved breathability, temperature regulation and freedom of movement. The stretch hem and cuffs keep the jacket where it should be and prevent cold air from entering or heat escaping. Both front pockets and chest pocket offer a place to store small items and warm hands at the top.
Thanks to its small size, this down jacket fits into any pack. Thanks to the athletic cut, the Radical Down jacket with a hood looks great not only on ski tours, but also when climbing or everyday wear for a walk around town.
