Drink Mix 320 is built on hydrogel technology. When mixed with water, you get a liquid carbohydrate sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. The sports drink immediately turns into a hydrogel in the acidity of the stomach. The hydrogel allows the drink to be smoothly transported through the stomach to the intestine, where water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.
