The ORTOVOX AVABAG LITRIC FREERIDE 28L backpack is a backpack with an avalanche airbag designed specifically for off-piste skiing.
From powder days near the pistes to multi-day freeride trips: Avabag Litric Freeride and Tour Zip attachments of various sizes can be placed on just one base, always adapted to the area of use. The zipper is designed so that different bags and the base can be easily combined into one unit.
The base consisting of a back element and an airbag system Avabag Litric Freeride 28 sits compactly on the back thanks to the Clasp Back System - with soft back padding, a wide, flexible waist belt and soft shoulder straps - while allowing complete freedom of movement. It is compatible with the Clasp Spine Protector, which is available separately.
Litric, an electronic airbag system, combines lightness with ease of use and reliability. The electric system charges in approx. 25 minutes with USB-C and allows many test versions at no additional cost. Getting rid of cartridges means: more space, no weighing, no disposal of cartridges, no travel restrictions. The design is thought out to the last detail, super capacitors are used instead of fillings and the airbag is super light. In addition, the system is particularly easy to operate.
All the functions of the pack are adapted precisely for freeride: Functions such as ski, snowboard and pick fixation are just as important as the helmet holder. In conjunction with quick access to the main compartment, the Ortovox Avabag Litric Freeride 28 leaves nothing to be desired. Emergency equipment can be fixed in the main compartment in special loops.
