Fischer is an Austrian company that primarily produces skis, skis, cross-country skis, cross-country shoes, and all necessary cross-country skiing equipment. They are one of the largest manufacturers of World Cup equipment for Nordic and Alpine skiing disciplines, producing a wide range of skis and ski equipment.

In 1924, the worker technician Josef Fischer decided to take a bold step in his modest wooden barn at Ufergasse 4. The story of successful ski production begins in Ried, after his death in 1959, his successors divided the Fischer ski company, which under his leadership produced 500,000 pairs skiing.
