INJINJI
Injinji - Toes deserve freedom
Californian toe sock manufacturer Injinji has changed the way socks should look for sports, especially running and hiking. Socks in which each toe has its own place do not press the toes together and allow them to bend and move naturally. The fabric surrounding each finger separately also contributes to efficient sweat drainage. Thanks to these properties, Injinji five-toe socks serve as prevention against blisters and abrasions on the toes. Injinji sports socks are usually sewn from either CoolMax® EcoMade polyester fibers or natural merino wool, or a combination thereof. Both of these materials are known for their ability to reliably wick away sweat instead of absorbing it. Your feet will stay dry and enjoy ideal thermal comfort. The properties of the mentioned materials also contribute to the fact that the socks will not smell so bad, whether you have a full-day hike or a racing marathon behind you. Special models of Injinji socks are faithful to upcycled cotton, which is good for both your feet and the environment, or synthetic Lycra fiber - this is used by compression knee socks with graduated compression to reduce leg fatigue under load.
Advantages of toe socks
Why wear something like five-toed socks? The advantage of socks in which each toe has its own "room" is that they do not press the toes together as classic socks do. This, firstly, drains sweat more effectively from the toe area when the non-absorbent and quick-drying material surrounds the toes, and secondly prevents the toes from rubbing against each other. This practically excludes the formation of blisters, abrasions and other unpleasant minor injuries, for example, tearing the skin on a finger with a neighbor's nail. Similar problems are most often encountered during running and long walks, which is why the Injinji brand prepares many types of running and hiking socks. Running socks, as well as hiking socks, are available in all three classic lengths, so you can wear low, ankle or high socks, and in many striking and subtle color combinations. Most Injinji socks are unisex, but you can also come across purely men's or women's socks with a specific cut.
