Camp is a leading company in the mountaineering industry (short for Concezione Articolo Montagna Premana), whose history dates back to 1889. The first moments of this company took place in a small workshop in Premana, in the mountains around Lecca (Northern Italy), where Nicola Codega worked with wrought iron. The business was passed on to his son Antonio, makers of the famous chicanes for the Alpine Regiment.
The Camp brand can now be found in 80 countries around the world. The products are characterized by lightness and performance in accordance with the "light and fast" motto of contemporary alpinism. Thanks to its long history of hard work, passion and loyalty to its roots in open global competition, it has developed its sports know-how to a high level. Camp is now run by the fourth generation of the Codega family. For this reason, it is an unrivaled company that is authentic to the mountain culture embedded in the middle of tradition and innovation.
