Most ultra shoes have a fundamental problem: They can be quite comfortable and well cushioned, but they are often too heavy and not precise enough. However, to reach the podium, you need a shoe that offers it all. The Ultra 100 GTX model was developed together with the best ultra runners from the DYNAFIT team. The result is a very light shoe that perfectly bridges the gap between comfort, traction and excellent energy return. Despite its maximum volume and high sole height of more than 30 mm, it is an impressively spirited shoe with excellent grip and precision from the first step to the last. Ultra 100 GTX have a drop of 6 mm. For the sole, the developers used the Vibram® Megagrip compound, which provides the highest performance in competitive sports. New Vibram traction lugs were used here. This innovative concept of 4 mm lugs guarantees better traction and perfect grip, so runners can move safely and precisely on any surface.

The new material in the midsole weighs 20% less than the traditional EVA midsole, but at the same time has an energy return of more than 10%. Heel Proloader provides excellent support and fixation of the heel and ankle while simultaneously reducing the strain on the Achilles tendon. The rounded construction of the sole (Rocker) together with balanced damping offers a sensitive and dynamic feeling during landing and rebound and enables smooth running until the last step even on heavy legs.
