This is the label for 100% recycled feathers. It is Mountain Equipment's commitment to contribute to sustainable production. Improvements in sustainable production began in 2017 when 100% post-consumer recycled feathers were introduced for the first time. That's when the idea of creating a functioning closed chain for recycling was born. This means that down clothes or sleeping bags that are unwanted or at the end of their life cycle will not just be thrown away, but the feathers will be used to make new products.

Mountain HC Insulated Hood

The Mountain HC Insulated Hood is a mid-sized insulated hood. When worn without a helmet, it offers excellent protection and enough visibility without appearing too bulky, and at the same time it fits you well with a climbing helmet. It is easy to put on over the helmet, and when you don't have a helmet on, you can easily pull it off with the help of well-thought-out rubber bands and zippers.
