Although you won't be able to put them on as easily as your other running shoes, they will really give you optimal protection against water, snow, mud and dirt. The quick lacing system is integrated into the shoe, which allows the user to get a more individualized and secure fit. The Gore-Flex lining is waterproof and breathable, so your feet stay as warm and dry as possible. For stability and comfort, La Sportiva used an Ortholite Mountain Running ergonomic insole and an EVA midsole with a torsion stabilizer. Grippy FriXion outsole provides excellent traction on soft surfaces and snow. The sole is also compatible with AT Spikes, so you get the grip you need on icy surfaces when needed.
