The Salomon S/LAB ULTRA running shoes are the result of a unique collaboration between the renowned ultrarunner François d'Haene and the Salomon company. Redefining the boundaries of peak performance, this shoe is the first shoe to maintain performance after 10 to 15 hours of racing.The combination of foam and flexible board opens up a new territory for ultra running and brings previously unexplored sensations. The unique two-layer, ultra-soft configuration of Energy Foam in the midsole provides optimal and stable cushioning over ultra-long distances in demanding, changing track conditions. The Profeel plate located in the midsole acts as an effective filter between the foot and the ground for long-distance protection in demanding mountain terrain. It also requires a period of adaptation. The comfortable and breathable upper is made of durable Matryx® Kevlar fibers that are light, quick-drying and abrasion-resistant.
